- Charming Charms – Wednesday, 9/9, 1:30-3 PM, $20,Instructor Syd Bastos will first whet your whistle with examples of how a variety of charms can be added to books, jewelry, bookbags, purses and other projects. Then you will select from a large variety of molds and metal forms along with additives like dried flowers, vintage papers, inks and mica powders. Both UV resin and a hardening agent, Glossy Accents will be used to add a polished surface to your charms. These are fast and satisfying! You’ll make enough to give as gifts but you may just find that you want to keep them all for yourself!All materials and tools provided.
- Four-Part Soft Pastels Series – Wednesdays, 9/30, 10/14, 10/28, 11/11, 1-3 PM, $85In this four-part series, artist Helen Kleczynski will teach you the basics of soft pastels, with demonstrations and lots of practice time. You will build your skills and confidence so by the 4th session, you’ll be ready to create a larger piece from a photograph or object of your choosing with expert, patient guidance from Helen.All materials and tools provided.

- Beyond the Blank Page: Creative Expression in Writing and Art – Wednesday, 10/7, 1-3:30 PM, $20,Nancy Smith will help you discover the unexpected beauty hidden within the pages of antique books. In this relaxing mixed-media workshop, you’ll transform vintage book pages into meaningful blackout poetry by finding words and phrases that speak to you. Then, you’ll incorporate your finished poem into a one-of-a-kind collage using curated papers, textures, and embellishments.No writing or art experience is necessary. This class is about exploration, creativity, and enjoying the process. You’ll leave with a finished piece that blends literature and visual art into a personal keepsake worthy of framing.
All materials are provided, including antique book pages and specialty collage papers. Come enjoy a creative afternoon of reflection, conversation, and artistic discovery.
- Thanksgiving Floral Arrangement – Tuesday, 11/24, 2-3:30 PM, $20,Mary Ann Kudary is bringing a bounty of fresh flowers and greens and a lifetime of experience in floral arranging. She will guide you in the best practices for preparing and arranging botanicals in autumn colors. You will walk out with a gorgeous arrangement fit for your Thanksgiving table or worthy of an impressive hostess gift!All materials and tools provided.
