South County Community Services is working with Yes! Communities, the County of Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Foundation, and United Ways of South Central Michigan to provide assistance with repairs for owner occupied homes that still have outstanding repairs needed from the 2024 tornadoes. If you were invited to view this page, you were identified as a household that could use assistance with repairs. We have done most of the work already but do need to verify ownership and salability of the house with a marketable title.

We are not able to begin repair work until we receive your verification documents. If you need assistance, please contact Drew at 649-2901 ext 4.

You may turn in a copy of your title using one of the methods below:

• Take a clear picture and email to info@southcountycs.com
• Documents may also be dropped off at 606 Spruce St, Vicksburg Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm.

Once verification is completed, we will be reaching out in order of repair priority to schedule repairs. Please be aware that we are required to take before and after pictures of your home in order to ensure that work was completed.
